Luna Tuna
Luna is one of those kittens that stays small for a very long time.
She used to be twice the size of Billy,
now he is almost twice her size.
I like to think she’ll remain small always,
but before you know it,
she’ll get her growth spurt … darn it!
Despite her size, she holds her own – one tough little kit.
Thankfully, she’s also a lap cat – yay!
I call her Luna Tuna because she will only eat FF Tuna.
Heaven forbid we don’t have a can always on hand.
SHUDDER!
We are thankful for our sweet Luna,
and thankful we haven’t yet run out of FF Tuna!

We’ve seen a few of those fully grown female cats that only get to 6-7 pounds and stay rather small their whole lives. One was Miss Alma, a foster who was so small the lady who adopted her gave Miss Alma to her mom, a tiny older lady who was wanting a lap cat and most cats were just too big. Miss Alma was just right.
Maybe Luna will be just right for some smaller adult’s lap someday.

Queen Nellie Bellie was always a tiny cat. The most she ever weighed was 6 pounds. Purrhaps Luna Tuna will be the same (Nellie only like FF Tuna too, until she got old and then she added chicken to her diet).
