Sweet Comfort
BoBo: Hey Mom, take a look at those two comforting each other.
Cat Mom: Awww, BooBoo is recovering from her surgery
and Billy with his eye infection.
They sure are sweet comfort for each other.
McTavish: Do you think someone will comfort me
when I have my spay surgery this month?
Cat Mom: Yes sweetie, don’t worry – you’ll get plenty of comforting.
When a cat has to have surgery or is sick and has to go to the Vet,
there is nothing harder for a Cat Parent, you worry, you fret and your heart aches.
Even routine stuff like spaying and infections or upper respiratory,
(which we have had a lot of this year)
just puts me right through the emotional ringer.
I wish there was a way to explain to them what is going on.
But it is wonderful when you see them pulling together and comforting each other.

There just seems to be a quiet connection ~ that special sense between them ~ that comfort is needed. Most have seen this among dogs, among farm animals and often even with wild creatures … Mother Nature takes care of her own.

Poor little kitties don’t understand why they have to have surgery. Our Callie had already had her surgery when we adopted her. Since then, we have found a mobile vet which is a godsend.

The Human says “AMEN” to the stress when we fur kids are sick. We’re glad you guys have each other to provide comfort. Human is comfort is good but there is nothing that compares with a purr buddy to help you heal!
