Auld Lang Syne
We have had quite a year!
We’ve updated our website, become an Amazon Affiliate, met new friends on the Blogosphere, and really enjoyed the time spent with our kitties.
We lost our dear Appie in the spring, she was our Clown Cat – never a day went by without her making us laugh.
It was a hard blow and nearly did us in.
We were amazed and touched at how supportive our blogging friends were at that terrible time. Y’all were incredible and we cannot thank you enough for your sympathy, love and support.
Ann Adamus from Zoolatry made this badge in honor of our Appie and she posted Appies tribute on Our Rainbow Friends, it was such a kind and thoughtful thing to do.
Thank you Terry Frum and The Cat Blogosphere for getting the word out when our little one crossed the Rainbow Bridge, it meant so much to us.
Much as the old year is represented by an old man, the New Year is represented by a baby. And such was our experience this year – we were chosen by a baby boy, our little Elf.
He was a joyous surprise!
He grew so fast!
And he made friends.
He has become such a handsome young boy, and is still growing!
Thanks to all our blogging friends for adding such a rich and varied dimension of joy to our lives.

Elf reminds me of my grandson’s handsome black cat when he was a wee one. In our house black cats bring good luck. We have enjoyed meeting your lovely felines.

If I were closer, I would have found a way to steal that wee Elf for myself…he’s beyond adorable, and Da Boyz would easily make a threesome.
