Ozzie: Make your voice heard – stand up for animals – make a difference!

There are many ways to make your voice heard on issues relating to animals, both locally and globally.

One of the ways I get involved is by online petitions. There have been many laws changed and animals helped by the power of these petitions.

Below I’ve listed the sites I use the most when I want to make a difference online.

The Humane Society – Check out their ‘All our Fights‘ page and choose a cause!

I signed up for their newsletter at the bottom of that page and I get emails whenever issues arise that need quick action.

The Animal Rescue Site is a good source for more ways to make my voice heard, visit for online petitions and other ways to help.

The Cat Blogosphere

The Cat Blogosphere regularly raises money for members of that online community that are in need. As most of the folks in that community are rescuing and helping animals and the costs can get pretty heavy at times. This is a good resource for helping out rescuers you have come to know and love online.

Donate

Of course, one of the best ways to help is to donate money. Whether the issue is of concern nationally, internationally or locally, there are rescue organizations that could use financial help.
