    Extraordinary Fall

    Catscue leaves

We’re so thankful that Fall is really here! The extraordinary colors of fall leaves just sends us over the moon!

Isn’t it extraordinary that our sage is still blooming!

    .

    Elf

We’re thankful for our little Elf who is growing up healthy and happy – with his extraordinarily long arms/legs!

    .

    Elf

We’re thankful and a little amazed at his, you guessed it, extraordinarily long tail!

    .

    Koala

We’re thankful for our sweet Koala’s toe beans and extraordinary tufted paws!

    .

    June Bug

We’re thankful for our darling June Bug’s curly-tailed napping pose, extraordinary!

    .

    Simon

We adopted Simon when he was 5, he had been returned to the shelter twice for behavior problems. When we brought him home, he went immediately into attack mode, it was a rough beginning. We’re thankful for his extraordinary change in behavior – he is now he is our sweet old Tiger-boy, a real love monster – just goes to show what some love and patience can do for an unwanted and very angry cat!

All of our extraordinary furbabies bring so much love, laughter and fun into our home, we are thankful for every day we have with them!

Okay, enough of the extraordinaries and exclamation points …

What are you thankful for on this Thankful Thursday?

    Ode to Torties

We are honoring our Torties today – we’re using The Righteous Brothers Unchained Melody lyrics, sort of …think of the movie Ghost but with Torties.

    Leila

Oh, my love, my Tortie, I’ve hungered to touch your fur

    A long, Tortie time

    Time goes by so slowly

And time can do so much

    Are you still mine?

    .

    Winnie

    I need your Tortie love

    I need your Tortie love

God speed your Tortie love to me.

    .

    Mona Lisa

    Lonely rivers flow

To the Tortie sea, to the Tortie sea

To the open paws of the Tortie sea

Lonely rivers purr, “Wait for me, Tortie”

I’ll be coming home, wait for me Tortie!

Sometimes I get an earworm and have to work it out – thanks for putting up with my silliness today!
