Marley is our brave fluffy Momma cat. She managed to keep herself and her kits safe and alive during one of the hottest summers I can remember.

After all she went through being abandoned as a very young mother, the fact that she kept her loving and happy attitude and trusted us to help her is astounding to me.

Marley is a work of art, not only in the picture above with an art effect, but as a survivor. To survive adversity and keep a loving and positive attitude is an art in itself.

Simon: Mom just came home, she thinks it’s just another night, but tonight is something special!

We got one of her birthday presents in the mail today, and after much debate, we’ve convinced Cat Dad to let us give it to her a few days early.

There is a lot of high-pitched squealing going on, and that is only over the box!

Now the squealing is getting really loud! She’s telling us we are the best kitties in the world! Of course, she always tells us that, but when she uses that squealing voice, you KNOW she really loves us AND the gift!

Are we good or what?!
