    There are even Tortie Tuxies!

    Don’t tell me that Torties

    with tuxedo whites

    are called Piebald,

I refuse to refer to my

    beautiful Stella as ‘piebald’!

    News Day

We have lots of news to catch you up on today.

    First, drumroll please,

skinny little Cupcake turned out to be pregnant

and gave us three little blessings a couple of weeks ago.

    Congratulations Mama Cupcake!

    Aren’t they sweet!

    Next, our chicken run arrived

and it is working out fine for the

    downstairs nursery enclosure.

    Nursery enclosure

Mama Lilly and her kits love it and are doing well.

We have it open when we are around,

but lock them up at night or when we leave the house.

    They prefer under that couch,

so we have the door open on that side

    so they can go under

There are bricks around the rest of the couch

    to keep that area secure.

    Lilly and kittens

So we have our fosters in the downstairs enclosure

and Cupcake and kits upstairs in the master bedroom.

I should be in a complete panic

    with the number of kittens,

    9 in total …

but really it couldn’t have happened at a better time,

we are under Stay At Home,

so it is something we can deal with.

I guess it was just meant to be …

and how can you not be thrilled with KITTENS!

    Out and about

I sent Ms. Janyce, who rescued Cupcake,

the news along with a photo

and she sent me some pictures from her deer cam,

seems she caught Daddy Cat along with the deer!

May the 4th be with you!
