The two utes
Mazzie and his bro Cowboy are growing up.

Maserati We refer to them as ‘The two utes’.
Mazzie has slowed down a little,
no longer the blindingly fast Maserati that he is named for,
thank goodness!
They both have had a bout of the sniffles,
but with meds that has finally cleared up.

Cowboy Cowboy has what we call ‘the wobblies’, just like our Emmett,
but he gets around just fine.
‘The Wobblies’ is cerebellar hypoplasia.
The symptoms are jerky or uncoordinated walking,
swaying from side to side when trying to walk,
a goose-stepping gait called hypermetria.
Although cats with cerebellar hypoplasia require a little extra care,
they are likely to live full lives.
In fact, they often live the same length of time as cats that are not affected.
Our Emmett has ‘The Wobblies’ and is 8 years old, healthy as a horse.
So we’re not too worried about our Cowboy.

Cowboy and friends He is a loving little boy and a snuggle-monster.
He is also my little baloney sandwich, silly kid!

Giant Panda

Panda Bear I love my Giant Panda Bear.

Panda and Puddin I’ve tried to get a photo with Panda next to a normal size cat,
but the perspective is never right.
You can kinda see in this one that Panda takes up most of the couch,
wheareas Puddin takes up very little –
but it’s hard to get the real enormity of our giant Panda Bear.

Panda Bear He is a beautiful cat.

Panda Bear And a big ole lovey/nappy kid.
