    And here she is FINALLY … drum roll please … Miss Harriet!

    This is the Feral Mom of most of our furbabies. We were able to trap her litters, but she was just to wily for us to trap her. Until one fine day almost 3 years ago, we finally nabbed her.

    She was pregnant at the time, so I think her wiles were not at their peak . She gave birth to four beautiful kits under our bed a little while later. Cat Dad installed a screen door to the master bedroom so Miss Harriet and her kits wouldn’t be bothered by others but they could get acquainted through the screen.

    I haven’t ever been able to get a good picture of her, so this is exciting – and it’s her very first selfie too!

    Emmett: She needs to sit down and pet me, but she kept walking all over the kitchen, back and forth … so I wrapped myself around her legs to stop her.
