Puddin posing

Puddin No one poses quite like the Puddz.
This is his thoughtful pose.

Puddin None of this gazing straight into the camera stuff for him.
Here he creatively displays his white whiskers.

Puddin The Puddz likes to create a mood.
Puddin: Enough with the camera Mom, this mood tells you that I need treats!

Billy again

Billy Mouse Billy got another upper respiratory infection and his eye got infected … again.

Billy Mouse First he was in trouble because he couldn’t nurse, so we bottle fed him,
then he got an upper respiratory infection and both eyes were infected.
But during all of that he had the appetite of a tiger.

Billy Mouse This time, he stopped eating and drinking for 36 hours.
It happened so fast, and of course on a weekend.
But Dr. Thomas took him in on Saturday,
gave him sub-Q fluids, heavy antibiotics and eye drops.

Billy Mouse Within 2 hours of bringing him home,
he was eating and feeling frisky – whew, what a relief!
He’s not happy about extra eye drops and meds,
but we are so very thankful he is doing better.
The world without Billy Mouse would be a dreary place,
so we’re watching him like a hawk.
This little guy is turning my hair the color of his fur with worry,
but I am so thankful for his exuberance and cheerful fearless nature.
There is very old wisdom that says
‘it is our sacred duty to live life to the fullest, despite the pain and hardship of this world’.
Billy lives that quote every day of his life and his example
has made a great impact on me.
