Well, we brought in a little abandoned cat.
I set up a Spay Day, but before that could happen …
Surprise!
Meet Uno, isn’t he a cutie?!
I had no idea she was pregnant.
That was probably because all she had in her was this tiny gray sausage.
I’ve never known a Mama cat that only had 1 kitten.
We’re thankful she was safe under the bed
instead of out in the cold and rain when she had her little Uno.
She had him the night of our big rain storm.

Happy Birthday to Uno!
Yes, i’ve seen mama cats have only one kitten, often a first litter of a very young mama (one poor tyke we had at the shelter was a few days shy of six months when she had her one kitten) or the last litter of an aging mama.

Hello Catscue Mom~~I wanted to share that my ex-Fiance’s cat Gigi got out once years ago b4 her spay surgery & a few months later she gave birth to 1 wee kitten. He survived & grew up to be a handsome Tuxedo cat! And yes, Gigi was spayed & no more kittens appeared 😉
